What Pod Parents are Saying

Pod Program Details

email info@learnimize.com for the COMPLETE PROGRAM PACKET

What is a Learning Pod?

Learnimize’s Learning Pods are small groups (4-8) of students who join a live 30-45 minute Zoom Class with an experienced learning coach/teacher.

The Learning Pods are designed to be a fun, engaging, and social supplement to homeschool curriculum. Learning Pods cultivate a sense of community and help build self-confidence!

Class Sizes

Each pod will be approximately 4-8 students with 1 teacher. This small group size allows for children to go at their own pace, receive personalized attention from the teacher, but still have opportunity for group discussion and communication skill development.

Pricing

There is a full-time LIVE program and there is a self-paced FLEX program available.

Rates will be posted on the website shortly, but in the meantime, please email info@learnimize to request the pricing packet and/or set up a consultation to discuss details of tuition rates and payment plan options.

Rates are subject to change each semester/year.

Pod Tuition is 1/5 of the cost of private lessons!

Learnimize is currently an approved Class Wallet vendor and can accept ESA/state funding/grants from VA, AZ, MO, and IN. FL coming soon.

Schedule

Our Pods meet either 2x or 3x per week for 30-90 minutes!

Exact schedule differs per grade.

Please email for the full pod packet!

Parental Involvement

Learnimize pods view students, parents, and teachers as a team. Parents will be involved in the planning process at the beginning, making sure the pod is customized for their unique child.

With that said, Learning Pods are designed to give parents a break during the day while the learning coaches take charge. Students are expected to be independently learning online with their classmates and teacher. Parents are welcome to be nearby for observation, but it is not required, nor encouraged.

Lesson Notes will be available after each class and our inbox is always open!

Materials

This is a hybrid learning pod which means there will be both physical and digital materials. Any digital materials will be included and provided for you. Any printables/PDFs will be uploaded on Google Classroom.

Some physical materials and books will need to be purchased by families and basic school supplies should be provided by parents in the child’s learning space such as paper, pencils, crayons, etc.

Curriculum

Our pod curriculum is creatively designed (not bought or one-size-fits-all) and flexible as we keep all unique learning styles and student interests in mind. Our teaching style is student-led, project-based, literature and vocabulary-focused, technology-heavy, and inquiry-based. We will be using a variety of teaching and learning methods such as direct instruction, video learning, novel studies, projects and mini-projects, game-based learning, student discussion, debate, presentations, independent practice, experiments, games, and hands-on activities. Each month will be theme-based. The curriculum is mainly focused on the CORE subjects (math and ELA), but other subjects and skills will be integrated daily. Please email for a complete curriculum overview.
